Instructions for Adding a Shortcut to iPhone Home Screen
Open Safari: Start by opening the Safari browser on your iPhone. This is the default web browser for iOS devices.
Go to the Website: In Safari, type https://toc-gs.co.uk into the address bar and go to the website. Make sure the page you want to add as a shortcut is loaded.
Tap the Share Icon: At the bottom of the Safari screen, you’ll see an icon that looks like a square with an arrow pointing up out of it. This is the Share icon. Tap on it to open the sharing options. (Note: If you don’t see the toolbar, tap at the bottom of the screen to make it appear.)
Scroll Through the Options: A menu will appear with various sharing options. Scroll through the options by swiping left until you find the “Add to Home Screen” button. It looks like a plus sign on a square.
Add to Home Screen: Tap “Add to Home Screen”. You will be taken to a new screen where you can choose the name for your shortcut. By default, it will fill in the title of the web page, but you can edit it to whatever you like.
Name Your Shortcut: Edit the name of your shortcut if desired. This will be the label under the icon on your Home Screen. Keep it concise to ensure it fits without truncation.
Add the Shortcut: Once you’ve named your shortcut, tap “Add” in the upper right corner of the screen. This will create the shortcut and add it to your iPhone’s Home Screen.
Access Your Shortcut: Exit Safari and return to your Home Screen. You will see the new icon representing the website shortcut you just added. You can now access https://toc-gs.co.uk directly from your Home Screen by tapping this icon.
Additional Tips
The icon for the website shortcut will be a miniature version of the website’s homepage screenshot or the site’s favicon if available. You cannot customize this icon directly.
You can move and organize the shortcut like any other app icon on your Home Screen, including placing it in folders.
To delete the shortcut, simply press and hold the icon until a menu appears, then select “Delete Bookmark.”

Instructions for Adding a Shortcut to Android Home Screen
Open Google Chrome: Launch the Chrome browser on your Android device.
Navigate to the Website: Enter https://toc-gs.co.uk in the address bar and go to the website. Ensure the website is fully loaded.
Tap the Menu Icon: Look for the menu icon in the upper right corner of the browser, often represented by three dots (⋮) or sometimes three lines.

Name the Shortcut: After tapping “Add to Home screen,” a popup will appear allowing you to name the shortcut. It will usually prefill with the title of the website, but you can change it to anything you like.
Create the Shortcut: Tap “Add” or “OK” after naming your shortcut. Some devices may then ask you to confirm where to place the shortcut or might add it directly to your home screen.
Locate the Shortcut: Go to your home screen by pressing the Home button. You might need to swipe between screens if your home screen is full. Locate the new shortcut icon for https://toc-gs.co.uk.
Use Your Shortcut: Tap the shortcut icon anytime to open the website directly in your browser.
Additional Notes
The appearance of the shortcut icon may depend on the website’s favicon (the small icon that appears in the browser tab when you visit the site) or a screenshot of the webpage.
If you use a different browser than Chrome (e.g., Firefox, Samsung Internet), the steps might be slightly different but should be similar in concept. Look for a menu option that says something like “Add to Home screen” or “Add page to.”
To remove the shortcut later, just press and hold the icon and drag it to the “Remove” or “Trash” area that appears, or select the appropriate option to remove or uninstall it, depending on your device.
